We are thrilled to announce two bronze medal wins at the 2023 U.S. Open Beer Championship, a huge milestone in our very first year as a brewery.

A Big Win in Our First National Competition
This marked Americana Beer Co.’s first entry into a national competition, where we competed against 3,107 breweries from across the United States and over 9,000 total entries. Bringing home two bronze medals before even celebrating our first anniversary in business means everything to our team.

Bronze Medal #1: Big Parade Imperial Stout
Our 2022 Big Parade Imperial Stout took home a bronze medal in the Imperial Stout Specialty category.

This big boy is a true “Big Parade” of flavors:

• 9.5% ABV — bold and hefty
• Aged on cocoa nibs, vanilla beans, and cinnamon
• Finished with habanero peppers for a touch of residual heat
• The result is a stout that’s a little sweet, a little spicy, and a whole lot of awesome.

Bronze Medal #2: New Slang Cranberry Herb Saison
Our second award-winning beer, New Slang: Cranberry Herb Saison, earned a bronze medal in the Belgian Style Fruit Beer category.

This Belgian Saison brings:

• 6.6% ABV — smooth and sessionable
• Aged on 30 lbs of fresh pureed cranberries
• A hint of rosemary for herbal depth
• It’s a deliciously fruity beer that still packs a flavorful punch.
